First Period:
Today we will be looking at Faith Ringgold's story quilts. Although these are not true illuminated manuscripts, we begin to see the relationship between the two. Also, Ringgold's work is an example of something you could do in the center of your book; paint in the center and write the story around it.
Fourth Period:
Today we will jump into looking at our artist for the day, could his work be something you could do for the inside of your book? The rest of class is devoted to finishing the projects up.
